odiRef and snpRef object instances are synonymous. snpRef syntax are legacy syntax which are now deprecated as you all know oracle didn't build ODI from scratch it acquired from Sunopsis and during enhancement oracle changed snpRef to odiRef.
You may be thinking why i mentioned this title and asked for an apology. The reason is when i was working with KM i saw some of the code contained snpRef and some contain odiRef, i thought that there would be some strong reason behind mentioning. As every software engg do i too started to search in google with the same name i mentioned as title and my hard luck i dint get any result. I want to make clear to people like me who search for the same keyword in google this would help cheers.:)
Sorry to misleading you actually there is no competition between these two objects we discussed about odiRef and snpRef and not odiRef vs snpRef.
